San Diego 24, Presbyterian 21
CLINTON, S.C. – San Diego built a 17-point lead through three quarters then fended on a frantic Presbyterian charge to post a 24-21 victory, Saturday at Bailey Memorial Stadium. San Diego scored just before halftime when Mason Randall found Michael Carner for a four-yard touchdown to complete a three-play, 30-yard drive. San Diego extended its lead to 24-7 with a minute left in the third quarter when Randall connected with Derek Kline to end another short drive. Presbyterian charged back in the fourth quarter with Brandon Thompson rushing for a touchdown early and passing for another with 41 seconds left. But Presbyterian could not recover the resulting on-side kick and San Diego was able to run out the clock. Randall completed 23-of-34 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns. Thompson passed for 323 yards on 17-of-38 passing, two going for touchdowns.

Davidson 24, Morehead State 21
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Caden Bonoffski's 32-yard field goal with two seconds remaining helped Davidson escape with a 24-21 victory against Morehead State, Saturday at Richardson Stadium. A back-and-forth game throughout, Morehead State scored just before halftime and just before the end of the third quarter to take a 21-14 lead as Mark Pappas threw touchdown passes to Ian Holder and BJ Byrd. But Davidson responded with a Dylan Sparks touchdown run with 2:47 remaining in the game to tie the game 21-21. Morehead State pushed the action after the ensuing kickoff, setting up a 45-yard field goal attempt that missed the mark with 1:33 left. Davidson responded by moving the ball 59 yards in nine plays and Bonoffski's boot split the uprights. Pappas led Morehead State with 284 passing yards on 23-of-31 passing for three touchdowns. Davidson's running back corps rushed for 334 yards and three touchdowns, Mark McCurdy leading that effort with 127 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.

Valparaiso 28, Butler 25
VALPARAISO, Ind. – Keyon Turner intercepted a pass deep in Butler territory and Valparaiso scored on the next play to claim a 28-25 victory against Butler, Saturday, at Brown Field. In a wild sequence of plays, Valparaiso recovered a fumble on the Butler 15-yard drive and saw a 4th-and-Goal run by Robert Washington stuffed behind the line of scrimmage for a turnover on downs. On the ensuing Butler drive, Turner picked off a pass at the Butler 13-yard line and returned it 12 yards setting up the Valparaiso offense on the one-yard line. This time Washington did not get stopped and found the end zone for a touchdown and a 28-17 lead.  Butler would score and convert a two-point try to get within a field goal but could not recover the ensuing on-side kick, Washington gaining a first down to run out the clock. Washington ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. Butler quarterback Sam Brown completed 25-of-34 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown.
