Synopsis
The PFL regular-season race is now a three-team race as San Diego improved to 6-0 with a road win while Marist and Stetson each moved to 5-1 with a home win… San Diego won its 27th consecutive PFL game with its win at Drake… Marist tied its program record with a fifth-straight PFL victory… Stetson won a Homecoming contest for the first time in three seasons and defeated Morehead State for the first time since the program was reinstated in 2013… Defense and special teams were responsible for four touchdowns (2 INT, 2 fumbles)… There were only three 100-yard rushing performances in Week 10 – all three coming courtesy Jacksonville runners (Calvin Turner Jr., Garnett Nicolas and Irvin Riley) as they notched their season's first PFL win… Five receivers had 100-yard games, Butler's Pace Temple leading that group with 196 receiving yards… There were 10 interceptions recorded in the PFL in just four games, Stetson's JJ Henderson and Marist's Brandon Miller each posting two interceptions on the day… There also were seven fumbles lost during the week for a total of 17 turnovers on Saturday.

JACKSONVILLE 48, BUTLER 44
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Calvin Turner Jr.'s second touchdown run found pay dirt with five seconds left, lifting Jacksonville to a 48-44 PFL win against Butler, Saturday, at D.B. Milne Field.
Jacksonville scored the game's first two touchdowns as Irvin Riley and Garnett Nicholas scored from 40 and 52 yards for an early 14-0 lead. Butler would score the next two touchdowns, but a missed PAT would keep the Bulldogs from tying the game. The two teams then traded the game's next five touchdowns, Jacksonville holding a 35-27 lead after an Irvin Riley touchdown.
Butler would strike for the next two scores but settled for a 26-yard Drew Bevelhimer field goal before Will Marty found Thomas Baldwin for a 52-yard pass and a 36-35 lead in the fourth quarter. Irvin Riley would strike from 52 yards out to give Jacksonville a 41-36 lead after the two-point conversion failed. Butler responded six minutes later with Anthony Scaccia's 10-yard run and a successful two-point conversion for a 44-41 lead, but Jacksonville had the last possession and made it pay off.
Turner Jr. was responsible for three touchdowns (one passing, two rushing) and ran for 194 yards. Nicolas added 117 yards and a touchdown while Riley tacked on 114 yards and three scores.
Marty completed 29-of-40 passes for 425 yards and threw a pair of touchdowns while rushing for two more.
MARIST 35, VALPARAISO 24
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Making his first appearance since Oct. 13, quarterback Jacob Hallenbeck threw for four touchdowns to lead Marist past Valparaiso, 35-24, in Saturday PFL action at Tenney Stadium.
Hallenbeck, who last saw action Oct. 13 against Jacksonville, threw three of his four touchdowns in a decisive second quarter that saw Marist score four times to build a 28-10 lead. Joe Petro would cap the Red Foxes' second-quarter scoring with a 27-yard fumble return for a touchdown that proved to be the game winner.
Valparaiso would narrow the deficit to 28-17 when Drew Snouffer returned a fumble 50 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. But the Crusaders would get no closer as the two teams traded fourth-quarter touchdowns.
Hallenbeck completed 15-of-25 passes for 215 yards and four touchdowns. Juston Christian caught three passes for 52 yards and two scores but it was Anthony Olivencia that did the big damage with five catches for 139 yards and a touchdown.
Chris Duncan paced Valparaiso with a 12-for-30, 194-yard passing performance that included two touchdowns.
STETSON 48, MOREHEAD STATE 24
DeLAND, Fla. – Stetson scored four unanswered touchdowns to break open a close game and post a 48-24 PFL victory against Morehead State, Saturday, at Spec Martin Stadium.
After the Hatters and Eagles traded two touchdowns each in the first quarter, Stetson's Jareem Westcott scampered in from one yard out to give Stetson its first lead, 21-14, midway through the second quarter. Morehead State would answer with a 34-yard Andrew Foster field goal on its ensuing possession, but it took just 1:43 for Stetson to respond with another touchdown for a 27-17 lead.
Stetson would strike three times in the third quarter to break the game open. JJ Henderson would return an interception 43 yards for the first score of the third. Colin McGovern hit Donald Parham for his fourth touchdown pass for the second touchdown of the frame. Matt Taft closed the rally with an 18-yard run for a 48-17 lead.
McGovern completed 19-of-35 passes for 390 yards and four touchdowns, finding Parham nine times for 187 yards and two scores.
Lawson Page amassed 346 total yards, passing for 280 yards on 20-of-41 passing and adding 65 rushing yards on 12 carries.
SAN DIEGO 27, DRAKE 10
DES MOINES, Iowa – A battle between the PFL leader and one of the co-second place squads went the league leader's way as San Diego scored two first-quarter touchdowns and held on for a 27-10 victory against Drake, Saturday, at Drake Stadium.
Anthony Lawrence, the PFL's leading passer, used his legs to give San Diego an early 13-0 lead. He dove into the end zone from two and one yards for the early lead. Drake's defense would respond in the second quarter when Jeran Proctor returned an interception 27 yards for a touchdown.
However, the Bulldogs defense could not break through the Toreros defense for a touchdown. Drake's only other score came on Danny Donley's 28-yard field goal with three minutes left in the game. Before that field goal, San Diego scored two more touchdowns to break the game open.
Lawrence completed 12-of-32 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown, leading a San Diego offense that needed just 343 yards in the win.
Drake was held to 254 offensive yards, Grant Kraemer completing 16-of-47 passes for 214 yards.
