Drew Lauer, Drake

Lauer’s 242-yard outing led Drake to a fourth consecutive PFL win with a 36-17 victory against Morehead State, Saturday. His 242 rushing yards were the best performance in the FCS during Week 9 and the fourth-best rushing performance this season. He scored twice via the run game, a 13-yard run in the second quarter to give Drake the lead for good and a one-yard dash in the fourth frame to secure the victory. Lauer was only tackled for a loss once in 28 attempts. He also had two catches for 20 yards, finishing with 262 all-purpose yards – 16th best in the FCS this season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jamari Booker, Valparaiso
Senior | Defensive Back Kentwood, Michigan
Booker intercepted a pair of passes and had 13 tackles as Valparaiso downed Stetson, 19-10, in Saturday PFL action. He finished the week tied for the PFL lead in tackles (13), passes defended (3) and interceptions (2) during Week 9 action. Booker’s first pick came at the Valparaiso 20-yard line, snuffing out a potential Stetson scoring drive and leading to the go-ahead field goal. His second interception ended Butler’s final possession at the Valparaiso 24-yard line, securing the win. Booker became the third FCS player with two multi-INT outings in 2019.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dimitrios Latsonas, Valparaiso
Senior | Kicker Westmont, Illinois
After Valparaiso tied the game 10-10, Latsonas hit three of his four field goals, helping Valparaiso to a 19-10 PFL victory against Stetson, Saturday. The 13th FCS kicker with at least four field goals made in a game this season, he hit from 40 and 43 yards as well as 20 and 34 yards. Latsonas accounted for 13 of Valparaiso’s 19 points as it picked up its season’s first victory.
