    Trautman caught just six passes, but four of those went for touchdowns as Dayton downed Jacksonville, 56-28, Saturday. He set Dayton’s single-game touchdown reception mark and the Flyers career receptions mark (139) in the win. Each of his four touchdown receptions came in the first half as Dayton raced out to a 21-point lead. The Flyers then turned to their run game the rest of the way and Trautman was part of an offensive line that aided the Flyers run game in posting 7.6 yards per carry. He finished the game with six receptions for 107 yards.

    Johnson led the PFL in Week 6 with four passes defended, including two interceptions, as San Diego defeated Marist, 31-7, Saturday. His two interceptions came in the second half, the first coming at the San Diego 35-yard line near the end of the third quarter. Johnson then picked off his second pass on Marist’s next drive of the game, setting up San Diego on the Marist 39-yard line which led to a Toreros field goal. He also had three tackles (all solo).

    Messina’s 27-yard field goal as time expired lifted Stetson to a 30-27 PFL victory against Butler, Saturday. He was responsible for 12 points in the win, connecting on each of his three field goals and three PATs. Messina connected on field goals of 20, 18 and 27 yards on the day as he became Stetson’s career scoring leader. It was Messina’s second career game-winning field goal as time expired, each has provided the Hatters their first program victory against their opponent: Jacksonville in 2018 and Butler in 2019.
