    Christian set a Marist record with three touchdown receptions in a 48-41 double-overtime PFL victory against Davidson, Saturday. Each of his three touchdown receptions came in the second half and overtime. With the Red Foxes facing a 34-17 deficit, Christian connected with quarterback Austin Day for touchdown receptions of 68 and 74 yards on consecutive drives to slash the deficit to three points. After Marist extended the game to overtime, Christian caught a twice-deflected pass and scampered 25 yards to the end zone to help force a second overtime. He finished the day with eight receptions for 246 yards, his second outing of 240-plus receiving yards this season, both coming in October.

    Kanu’s busy day in the Morehead State secondary came to an end with his interception to seal a 31-24 PFL victory against Valparaiso, Saturday. With Valparaiso driving for the potential game-tying score after recovering an on-side kick, Kanu picked off the second pass of the drive and returned it 66 yards to squash the drive. He also had a team-leading nine tackles (five solo) on the day. It was the second consecutive week Kanu defended a pass to preserve a Morehead State win after batting a pass away on Davidson’s final drive last week.

    Messina’s Stetson-record 17th career field goal made was a game-winning 22-yard boot in a 38-35 PFL victory against Jacksonville, Saturday. It capped a perfect kicking day for the Messina who also was 5-for-5 on extra-point attempts on the day, accounting for eight points in the win. He remains one of only five qualifying kickers in the FCS without a missed kick this season, improving to 8-for-8 on the season and also remains perfect on 18 PAT tries this season.
