Grant Kraemer, Drake

Kraemer tied a Drake record and his own career high with six touchdown throws in a 52-12 victory against Missouri S&T, Saturday. Departing the game after his sixth touchdown at the 9:48 mark of the third quarter, he completed 14-of-16 passes for 359 yards. Kraemer’s touchdowns went to four different receivers and three were 50 or more yards out. Two Drake receivers – Steven Doran (112 yards) and Drew Lauer (134 yards) – had 100 yard receiving days largely thanks to Kraemer.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Will Warner, Drake
Junior | Safety Pella, Iowa
Warner wasn’t called on much in Drake’s 52-12 victory against Missouri S&T, but he made the most of his opportunity with a 26-yard interception return for a touchdown. His pick-six came early in the fourth quarter and was the Bulldogs final score of the contest. It was his second career interception return for a touchdown.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Corey Coppola, Davidson
Senior | Defensive End Bluefield, West Virginia
Coppola was credited with three blocked kicks in Davidson’s 91-61 victory against Guilford, Thursday. He blocked a pair of PATs and a punt while also recording a pair of tackles Coppola’s first block was on a PAT after Guilford scored the game’s first touchdown. He then blocked a punt that resulted in a safety, also in the first quarter. Coppola added a second blocked PAT at the end of the first half.
