Pace Temple, Butler
Senior | Wide Receiver Geneva, Illinois
Temple led all FCS receivers with 14 catches, including five during Butler’s final two scoring drives in a 23-21 upset victory at No. 24 Youngstown State, Saturday. In addition, Temple recovered the on-side kick to set up the game-winning drive on which he had two receptions for 21 yards. He began the day with back-to-back receptions of 31 and 28 yards on Butler’s first touchdown drive. Temple’s lone touchdown was Butler’s second score of the game as he caught a six-yard pass to begin the fourth quarter. Temple caught five of quarterback Will Marty’s seven completions during the final two scoring drives.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Harrison Hill, Davidson
Sophomore | Linebacker Cincinnati, Ohio
Hill returned an interception for a touchdown to help Davidson claim a 34-13 victory against Brevard, Saturday. On the first play of the second quarter, Hill picked off a pass and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown, giving Davidson a 20-13 lead they would not relinquish. He also led all Davidson defenders in total tackles (8) and solo tackles (5) in the season-opening win.

Drew Bevelhimer, Butler
Junior | Kicker Indianapolis, Indiana
Bevelhimer connected on 44-yard field goal with four seconds left to give Butler a 23-21 victory at No. 24 Youngstown State, Saturday. After Butler’s two-point conversion try failed, Butler executed an on-side kick recovered by Pace Temple to setup another drive, Bevelhimer then connected on a 44-yard field goal with four seconds left to lift Butler to the win. Bevelhimer connected on both his PATs in the contest and saw three of his four kickoffs sail for a touchback.
