SAN DIEGO 50, DAYTON 38
DAYTON, Ohio – Terrence Smith ran for 139 yards and three touchdowns as San Diego pulled away in the second half for a 50-38 PFL victory against Dayton, Saturday, at Welcome Stadium. Dayton grabbed a 20-16 second quarter lead as quarterback Jack Cook passed for a score and – after Dayton recovered a fumble – ran for a score. But San Diego scored the next 21 points, Reid Sinnett hit Michael Bandy for a 49-yard touchdown strike for a 22-20 halftime lead. Smith opened the second half with his first touchdown run before Sinnett found Bandy again for a 36-20 lead. Smith's 139-yard day was complemented by Emilio Martinez' 161-yard outing that included a touchdown as San Diego amassed 303 rushing yards. Cook passed for four touchdowns and ran for two more, finishing with 348 total offensive yards.

DRAKE 36, MOREHEAD STATE 17
DES MOINES, Iowa – Drew Lauer finished with 242 rushing yards and two touchdowns as Drake downed Morehead State, 36-17, in Saturday PFL action at Drake Stadium. Lauer gave Drake the lead for good with his 13-yard run for a 9-7 advantage in the second quarter. His second touchdown run came after Morehead State trimmed the Drake lead to five points, a one yard burst that gave Drake a 29-17 lead with 4:22 remaining.  Mark Pappas completed 28-of-44 passes for 288 yards and a touchdown, but had two interceptions as Morehead State was forced into five turnovers.

BUTLER 24, JACKSONVILLE 14
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Butler overcame a 14-6 deficit after one quarter to claim a 24-14 PFL victory against Jacksonville, Saturday, at Sellick Stadium. Jacksonville scored twice in the first quarter as B.J. Riley and Calvin Turner Jr. each rushed for touchdowns. But Butler's defense did not allow the Dolphins to score again over the final 46:39. Brad Sznajder caught a pass midway through the second quarter to tie the game, 14-14 at halftime. Drew Bevelhimer gave Drake the lead with a 25-yard field goal and Sznajder sealed the victory with his two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Sznajder finished with 150 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries to lead the Bulldogs. Garnett Nicolas posted 90 yards on 22 carries to lead Jacksonville's offense that posted 240 rushing yards.

MARIST 27, DAVIDSON 21
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Hunter Cobb ran for two touchdowns in the third quarter as Marist built a 24-7 lead then held on for a 27-21 PFL victory against Davidson, Saturday, at Richardson Stadium. Cobb finished with 178 yards and two touchdowns, his 89-yard burst to open the second half giving Marist a 17-7 lead. He added a 15-yard touchdown run late in the third to give the Red Foxes a 24-7 advantage. Davidson would climb back into the game with a Tyler Phelps passing touchdown and a Wesley Dugger rushing score to narrow the deficit to 24-21. But Luke Paladino's 24-yard field goal with 1:19 left provided the key insurance points in the win. Phelps completed 13-of-27 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns to lead Davidson.
