Lauer scored each of his three touchdowns in the first half, his 22-yard touchdown reception breaking a 7-7 tie on the first drive of the second quarter. His two-yard run with 5:14 left in the half gave Drake a two-touchdown lead at the half. Ian Corwin then found Devin Cates twice to start the second half, breaking the game open. Lauer finished with 124 rushing yards on 26 carries and added 19 receiving yards while Corwin completed 25-of-32 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns. SAN DIEGO 37, DAVIDSON 17
DAVIDSON, N.C. – San Diego's defense threw a second-half shutout en route to a 37-17 PFL victory against Davidson, Saturday, at Richardson Stadium. The two teams ended the first half knotted up at 17-17, but the San Diego's defense did not allow a point in the second half for the second consecutive week. Meanwhile, quarterback Reid Sinnett broke the tie with a touchdown throw to Michael Bandy on the second half's opening drive then added a 70-yard touchdown bomb to Dalton Kincaid to build a two-touchdown lead. Sinnett threw five touchdown passes as part of his 27-of-32, 358-yard outing. Receivers Michael Bandy (9 receptions, 118 yards, 2 TDs) and Dalton Kincaid (4 rec., 112 yds, TD) each posted 100-yard receiving outings. Davidson running back Wesley Dugger had both Davidson touchdowns.

MOREHEAD STATE 30, JACKSONVILLE 22
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Morehead State scored twice in the final 2:36, overcoming a six-point fourth-quarter deficit to down Jacksonville, 30-22, in Saturday PFL action at D.B. Milne Field. Jacksonville grabbed a 22-16 lead early in the fourth quarter when A.J. Davis scored from three yards out and Calvin Turner Jr. added a two-point coversion. But for the second straight week, Morehead State backup quarterback DeAndre Clayton made an impact. He led the Eagles on an 8-play, 50-yard drive and dove in from one yard out with 2:31 left to tie the game, 22-22, with the extra-point conversion giving the Eagles a slim lead. Morehead State's defense then forced a turnover on downs on the ensuing Jacksonville possession, setting up the MSU offense at the 24-yard line. One play later Issiah Aguero dashed into the end zone, giving the Eagles a much-needed insurance score. Clayton finished with 98 yards on 8-of-10 passing and tacked on 10 yards rushing. Three different Dolphins scored touchdowns, but Turner Jr. was kept out of the end zone despite a 141-yard rushing day.

VALPARAISO, Ind. – Dayton scored touchdowns near the end of both the third and fourth quarters to ease away from Valparaiso for a 41-28 PFL victory, Saturday, at Brown Field.
