SAN DIEGO 42, BUTLER 13

Lawrence then threw three touchdowns in the second quarter, including a 97-yard catch-and-carry by Michael Armstead, as USD broke out to a 35-0 halftime lead.

Butler would break through with its first drive of the second half, Will Marty finding Stephen Dennis on a 61-yard strike. But San Diego scored with 14 seconds left to thwart any comeback attempt.

San Diego won its 25th consecutive PFL game – now the FCS' longest conference win streak after Jacksonville State of the Ohio Valley Conference lost at Southeast Missouri.
