DAYTON 42, DAVIDSON 21
DAYTON, Ohio – Davidson scored the game's first 14 points but Dayton responded with 42 unanswered points to claim a 42-21 PFL victory, Saturday, at Welcome Stadium. 

Davidson (3-1, 0-1 PFL) pieced together scoring drives of 84 and 87 yards in the opening quarter. Tyler Phelps capping the first scoring drive with a 48-yard pass to Zach Hester. Wesley Dugger then closed the second Wildcats scoring drive with a two-yard run for a 14-0 lead.

Dayton (2-2, 1-0 PFL) rallied to tie the game with a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter, each capped by a Richie Warfield touchdown run. The Flyers took control in the third quarter with 21 points, Tucker Yinger scoring a pair of touchdowns from 18 and eight yards out to break the game open.

Yinger finished the game with three touchdowns, tacking on a TD reception in the fourth quarter, and had 122 all-purpose yards on 19 plays. Flyers quarter back Jack Cook completed 11-of-18 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns.

Phelps paced Davidson with 177 passing yards and 41 rushing yards for 218 total offensive yards.

STETSON 19, MARIST 14
DeLAND, Florida – Matt Taft scored midway through the fourth quarter to lead Stetson past Marist, 19-14, in Saturday PFL action at Spec Martin Stadium.

Stetson (3-0, 1-0 PFL) opened with the game's first 13 points, Jonny Messina hitting field goals of 32 and 35 yards around a 13-yard touchdown pass from Colin McGovern to Donald Parham. 

Marist (0-3, 0-1 PFL) broke through just before the first half ended when MiKe Husni found Jon Kansa for a 40-yard touchdown completion, slashing the deficit to 13-7.

After a quiet third quarter, Marist took the lead early in the fourth when Husni and Kanda connected again from 28-yards out for a 14-13 Red Foxes lead. However, the Hatters scored on their ensuing possession, capped by Taft's run, to take the lead for good.

Jareem Westcott rushed for 113 yards on 22 carries while Taft had 66 rushing yards on another 22 carries to pace the Stetson offense.

Husni completed 10-of-30 passes for 167 yards with each of his two touchdown passes going to Kanda, who had 90 yards on four catches. 

Truman State 34, Valparaiso 20
VALPARAISO, Indiana – A pair of big plays that ended with touchdowns helped Truman State edge past Valparaiso, 34-20, in nonconference action, Saturday, at Brown Field. 

Truman State (1-3) took the lead early in the third quarter when Jaden Barr found Mitch Nichols for a 75-yard passing touchdown. The Bulldogs later used a 92-yard kickoff return by Lawrence Woods to secure the game.

Valparaisoclosed with in a touchdown thanks to a pair of Dimitrios Latsonas field goals in the second half. But Truman State's 17-point fourth quarter proved too much to overcome. 

Valparaiso quarterback Trey Bilinski completed 15-of-22 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
