DAVIDSON, N.C. – Anthony Lawrence threw for 403 yards and three touchdowns as San Diego claimed the 2017 PFL Championship with a 63-7 PFL victory against Davidson, Saturday, at Richardson Stadium. San Diego scored on five of its first seven drives and never looked back. Lawrence completed 24-for-28 passes while leading San Diego to a school record 703 yards offense. Davidson running back Wesley Dugger finished with 80 yards to surpass the 1,000-yard mark in his freshman campaign.

Marist 38, Morehead State 31
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Mike White threw two fourth-quarter touchdowns, leading Marist to a 38-31 come-from-behind PFL victory against Morehead State, Saturday, at Tenney Stadium. White hit Juston Christian on a 45-yard touchdown pass to tie the game with 8:29 to go. On the ensuing Morehead State possession, Willie Barrett's fumble recovery at the Eagles' 41-yard line set up White's 20-yarder to Lawrence Dickens for the lead with 4:21 left. Morehead State had one final opportunity to tie the game, starting a drive with 1:37 left but Barrett recovered another fumble to end the threat. White finished 17 of 40 for 315 yards passing and three touchdowns. Lawson Page was 31 of 51 with 427 yards passing and two touchdowns to pace the Eagles.

Jacksonville 13, Stetson 10
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Rylan Wells threw a fourth-quarter touchdown and Jacksonville held on for a 13-10 PFL victory against Stetson, Saturday, at D.B. Milne Field. Stetson had an opportunity to tie the game with its final drive and with the ball on the Jacksonville three-yard line, Colin McGovern completed a short pass to Ja'Vonta Swinton who was shoved out of bounds by Griffin Garland at the 1-yard line as time expired. Wells completed 11-of-15 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown to lead the Dolphins. McGovern threw for 273 yards, completing 27-of-45 passes.

Valparaiso 36, Butler 28
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Valparaiso scored on three consecutive drives in the first quarter en route to a 36-28 PFL victory against Butler, Saturday, at the Sellick Bowl. Valparaiso quarterback Jimmy Seewald threw for three touchdowns in the first half, including a 53-yard strike to Jarrett Morgan with 7:28 remaining in the first quarter that gave the Crusaders the lead for good. Seewald completed 18-of-28 passes for 285 yards, the bulk of Valparaiso's 356 offensive yards. Will Marty threw for 250 yards for the Bulldogs with Sam Schrader running for a touchdown and tossing a 23-yard pass for another score.

Drake 45, Campbell 10
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Drake scored 21 points in the third quarter to break away in a 45-10 PFL victory against Campbell, Saturday, at Barker-Lane Stadium. The Bulldogs scored the game's first two touchdowns, Brock Reichardt diving in from two yards out in the first quarter and 15 minutes later Grant Kraemer hit Steve Doran for a 68-yard touchdown and a 14-0 lead. Drake finished with 547 offensive yards while holding Campbell to 327 yards. Kraemer completed 17-of-20 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns. Daniel Smith was limited to 147 yards on 10-of-22 passing.
