Pioneer Football League Announces 23rd Annual All-PFL Teams

Fifty-nine student athletes have been named to the 23rd All-Pioneer Football League teams, Tuesday. All selections were made by the league’s coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own student-athletes.

Stetson’s Payne, Morehead State’s Gahafer highlight 2015 Pioneer Football League Major Award Winners

A group of six student-athletes from six different programs were named recipients of the Pioneer Football League’s season-ending awards. In addition, Dayton head coach Rick Chamberlin was named the league’s Coach of the Year, Monday, in a vote of the league’s coaches.

The Pioneer Football League recently concluded its review of Jacksonville University’s football program’s use of financial aid. In addition to accepting the school’s voluntary removal from its 2010 and 2014 championships, the league has imposed a one-year ban on postseason play for the 2015 season.
