BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The administration of Campbell University announced today that head football coach Dale Steele will be released at the conclusion of the 2012 season.

Coach Steele and his staff will remain with the program through the team's final game on Nov. 17.  The search for a new head coach will begin immediately.

"Coach Steele has been a tireless worker building a Campbell football program from scratch.  He performed countless behind-the-scenes duties in addition to leading an NCAA Division I football program, and we are forever grateful for his service and leadership.
